restrained; self-denying; frugal

abstaining or denying food or drink

He is abstemious. He will not eat junk food.

You will never be fat when you are abstemious.

Remember: abstemious reminds of abstinence.

Used at work:
There are donuts in the break room. It's a good thing I am abstemious.
